From El Rodeo Western Wear to Botines Charros
A business driven by a passion for charro culture and western style. From the start, the goal was clear: offer authentic products that represent our roots and the western identity of our community.
Over the years, the vision evolved. Aiming to raise the bar on quality, selection and experience, El Rodeo Western Wear moved into a new chapter. In April 2019, Botines Charros was officially born, launching a brand focused on premium products and a more complete experience.
A small store with big goals
Botines Charros opened its first store in Fairfield, California. It was a small space with limited inventory, focused on accessible brands. Back then, the highlights were a few Ariat and Wrangler styles, with little variety but a clear goal: grow and offer higher-quality products.
From day one, the intention was to build something different. We wanted to create an elevated western store, something that barely existed at the time. A store where service, quality, style and authenticity came first.
Growing from the ground up
With the support of our customers, the project began to grow. After Fairfield, we opened new locations in Modesto, then Ontario and finally Fresno, California. Each store marked a new step in our evolution.
Like any business built from the ground up, the road required tough decisions. We eventually closed the Modesto store to focus on our fastest-growing locations and strengthen our vision.
Today, Botines Charros has retail stores in Fresno and Ontario, offering a wide selection of cowboy boots and premium accessories for customers looking for high-quality boots, accessories and apparel.
From basic to premium
What started with limited inventory grew into a premium selection. Over time we added brands like Cuadra and Stetson, higher-quality materials and more exclusive designs, including exotic leathers and carefully selected styles.
Our goal has always been to raise the standard for western stores, offering products that stand out for their quality, authenticity and style.
